DIN Standards Committee Water Practice

Overview

This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 119-05-33 AA "Rohre und Schächte aus Beton für Abwasserkanäle und -leitungen" (Concrete pipes and manholes for drains and sewers) at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW). This standard applies in conjunction with DIN EN 1917 and DIN 4034-1 for circular prefabricated concrete manhole elements, steel fiber reinforced concrete and reinforced concrete with nominal diameters DN 800, DN 1 000, DN 1 200, DN 1 500 and DN 2 000. It also applies mutatis mutandis to prefabricated manhole components with nominal diameters greater than DN 2 000 and with cross-sections other than circular. It specifies supplementary requirements for conformity assessment and associated test methods in accordance with DIN 4034-1 for prefabricated concrete manhole components and reinforced concrete manhole components within the scope of DIN EN 1917, which are designated as Type 2. The numbering of the clauses has been taken from DIN EN 1917:2003-04. Where reference is made to DIN EN 1917:2003-04, the corresponding clause of the European Standard applies. Clauses not listed are to be found in DIN EN 1917:2003-04.
