Overview
The European Standard defines, in addition to the purity criteria and the corresponding analysis processes, the requirements for labelling, transportation and the storage of products as well as specific safety rules. Further enclosed are details regarding the physical and chemical properties and general information regarding the manufacture and use of the products. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 ("Drinking Water Treatment") (Secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active German collaboration of Working Committee NA 119-04-02 AA "Wasseraufbereitung" ("Drinking Water Treatment") of NAW.
