Overview
The European Standard contains in addition to purity criteria and the corresponding analysis methods requirements for marking, transport and storage of the corresponding products as well as the specific safety-related rules. Furthermore it contains information for the physical and chemical properties and the general information for the manufacture and use of the products. The European Standard has been prepared by CEN/TC 164/WG 9 "Drinking water treatment" (secretariat: AFNOR, France) with the active German collaboration of Working Committee NA 119-04-02 AA "Wasseraufbereitung" ("Drinking water treatment") at NAW.
