Packaging - Guideline for design for recycling of flexible packaging made of biodegradable plastics
Abstract
This document defines specific process and design criteria to evaluate the compatibility with collection, sorting, and recycling process of the part of the flexible packaging unit which comprises the main body and the integrated components predominantly made of biodegradable plastics, as well as of separate components predominantly made of biodegradable plastics. This document is not about the compostability of packaging, i.e. its ability to be organically recovered through composting.
