Plastics - Determination of illumination diffusion - Near-distance haze measurement for transparent materials
Abstract
This document specifies a method for measuring illumination diffusion, an optical property resulting from the scattering of light, in transparent and largely colourless plastic films and packaging. Two parameters are quantified, namely ID haze, which results from the scattering of light at a wide angle, and ID sharpness, which results from scattering at a low angle.
