This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 178-02-04 AA "Rohrverschraubungen" "Compression couplings" at DIN Standards Committee for Process and Plant Technology (NAPA). This document specifies dimensions and technical requirements for run T-studs with taper-threaded stud end and cutting ring screw connections in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8434-1 that are used in non-soldering compression couplings. As a replacement for the L and S series, directionally adjustable fittings may be used together with studs according to DIN EN ISO 8434-1. This document shall not be used for new designs.
