This standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-02-05 AA "Rohre und Rohrverbindungen" ("Piping systems and connections"). This document is applicable to flange connections from welding necks according to VG 85362-2 and outer flanges according to VG 85362-3 which are used for pipes on vessels of the Deutsche Marine (German Navy).
