Overview
This document for loose flanges with a nominal pressure of PN 10, PN 16, and PN 40 for pipelines on ships specifies the dimensions, masses, and materials, and provides information on surface protection, marking, and delivery conditions. These flanges are used together with welding neck flanges in accordance with DIN 86037-2 to connect pipes in accordance with DIN 86018 or DIN 86019 made of CuNi10Fe1,6Mn or pipes in accordance with DIN EN 12449 made of CuNi30Mn1Fe. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 132-02-05 AA "Rohre und Rohrverbindungen" ("Piping systems and connections") at DIN Standards Committee Shipbuilding and Marine Technology (NSMT).
