Terminology
The working committee is responsible for the standardization of representation of concepts and terms in health care. This includes formal models and the description of terms. Existing systems should be taken into account.
In particular it addresses the semantic organization of information and knowledge for the practical use in electronic applications of health care. This includes the contents of informatics and telematics in health care. The scope also includes the area of pharmaceuticals.
One goal of this work is the harmonization of existing and future systems for terminology.
