DIN Standards Committee Dentistry

Overview

This standard specifies terms and definitions and measuring procedures for facebows which are part of a headgear and used in orthodontics. This standard does not apply to facebows used in prosthetics for transmitting individual anatomical and geometric conditions of the patient to the articulator. Working Committee NA 014-00-18 AA "Kieferorthopädische Produkte" ("Orthodontic materials") of NADENT is responsible at DIN.
