DIN Standards Committee Dentistry

Overview

This standard specifies requirements and test methods for orthodontic miniscrews used in orthodontic treatment together with orthodontic equipment. It specifies dimensions, shapes, materials and marking. It does not cover palatal implants which shall osseointegrate. The responsible Working Committee at DIN is NA 014-00-18 AA "Kieferorthopädische Produkte" ("Orthodontic materials") of NADENT.
