Overview

This document defines terms as well as abbreviations and designations for the application of the standards for the waterproofing of buildings (DIN 18531 to DIN 18535). This document defines terms for the waterproofing of buildings. Standards DIN 18531 through DIN 18535 apply for component-related waterproofing of buildings against water and moisture. This document has been prepared by Working Committee 005-02-13 AA "Abdichtungen für erdberührte Bauteile (SpA zu CEN/TC 314)" ("Mastic asphalt for waterproofing structures in contact with the ground (national mirror committee of CEN/TC 314)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
