DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering

Overview

This document specifies requirements for the design, execution, and maintenance of waterproofing with waterproofing materials in panel-shaped form in conjunction with tiles and paving for interior floor and wall surfaces against water with maximum ponding up to 10 cm. It is assumed that the waterproofing materials in panel-shaped form serve only as waterproofing and do not constitute a self-supporting structural element. This document is applicable in conjunction with DIN 18534-1. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-02-34 AA "Innenraumabdichtungen" ("Sealants for internal spaces") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
