Overview
This document specifies requirements for the design, execution, and maintenance of waterproofing with waterproofing materials in sheet form in combination with tiles and slabs (AIV-B) against water with maximum ponding up to 10 cm. DIN 18534-5 is applicable in conjunction with DIN 18534-1. This document does not apply to waterproofing with waterproofing materials in sheet form in accordance with DIN 18534-2. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-02-34 AA "Innenraumabdichtungen" ("Sealants for internal spaces") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau).
