DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering

Overview

This document is applicable to the production and design of mine plans. This document specifies the required symbols, terms, and abbreviations to be used for the representation of drilling in operational plans as well as in sketches, maps, and plans required by mining authorities. This document applies to both surface and underground drilling, unless specified otherwise. This document also applies to drilling in coastal waters and on the continental shelf. This document does not apply to underground workings. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-03-05 AA "Markscheidewesen" ("Mine surveying") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau), Technical Section 03 "Geodesy, Geoinformation".
