Overview

This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 005-09-29 AA "Glas im Bauwesen" ("Glass in building") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NABau). This document specifies edge shapes for flat glass used in buildings, and their design types. They are applicable to basic glasses made of - soda-lime silicate glass according to DIN EN 572-1; - borosilicate glass according to DIN EN 1748-1-1; - alkaline earth silicate glass according to DIN EN 14178-1; - alumino silicate glass according to DIN EN 15681-1; - glass ceramics according to DIN EN 1748-2-1. Edges of drill holes are not covered by this document.
