DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering

Overview

This European Standard describes terminology used in documents, drawings, specifications etcetera, when referring to the detailed elements of curtain walling and provides a comprehensive, though not total, list of regular terms. It does not set out to repeat those physical definitions properly included within individual curtain walling standards related to performance requirements and associated test methods. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 005-09-01 AA "Türen, Tore, Fenster, Abschlüsse, Baubeschläge und Vorhangfassaden (SpA zu CEN/TC 33 und ISO/TC 162)" ("Doors, windows, shutters, building hardware and curtain walling (Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 33 and ISO/TC 162)") at DIN Standards Committee Building and Civil Engineering (NaBau).
