Overview
This National Annex contains national provisions for the design, calculation and dimensioning of timber structures which shall be taken into account when applying DIN EN 1995-1-1 in Germany. This document is only valid in conjunction with DIN EN 1995-1-1:2010-12. This document (DIN EN 1995-1-1/NA) has been prepared by Mirror Committee NA 005-04-01 AA or NA 005-04-01-01 AK "Holzbau - Arbeitskreis Nationaler Anhang zu DIN EN 1995-1-1" ("Timber structures - Working Committee National Annex to DIN EN 1995-1-1") at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization e. V. This document constitutes the National Annex to DIN EN 1995-1-1 "Eurocode 5: Design of timber structures - Part 1-1: General - common rules and rules for buildings". The European Standard EN 1995-1-1 allows national safety parameters to be specified for a number of points. These national determined parameters (NDP) cover alternative procedures, the provision of individual values, and the selection of classes from designated classification systems. The following changes have been made with respect to DIN 1052:2008-12: a) national determined parameters (NDP) according to EN 1995-1-1 have been added; b) non-contradictory complementary information (NCI) and explanations according to EN 1995-1-1 have been added.
