Abstract
This document is applicable to outdoor sports turf areas. It is not applicable to golf courses, equestrian facilities, or grass tennis courts. NOTE: For information on golf and equestrian facilities, see the FLL Guidelines for the Construction of Golf Courses and the FLL Recommendations for the Planning, Construction, and Maintenance of Equestrian Facilities. Under special conditions (e.g., fields with special uses, with underfloor heating, with reinforcement systems, or fields that are fully or partially, permanently or temporarily covered), it will be determined on a case-by-case basis whether the specifications in this document can be applied.
