Electrical installations in residential buildings - Part 2: Nature and extent of equipment
Abstract
This document describes appropriate equipment for electrical installations in newly constructed residential buildings (e.g., multi-family houses, row houses, single-family houses), as well as related electrical installations outside of these buildings. It specifies the requirements regarding the type and scope of the electrical installations described in this document. Excluded from this are the equipment of technical operating rooms and operational installations. This document is also applicable to residential buildings with partial commercial use. For existing residential buildings and buildings with comparable requirements for electrical equipment, the document can be applied analogously. NOTE For equipment features beyond those described in this document, see RAL-RG 678.
