Gypsum plasterboards for building construction - Application
Abstract
This standard applies to the installation of gypsum boards in accordance with DIN 18180 and within the scope of DIN EN 520, non-woven-reinforced gypsum boards within the scope of DIN EN 15283-1, gypsum fiber boards within the scope of DIN EN 15283-2, gypsum board composite elements for thermal and sound insulation within the scope of DIN EN 13950, and gypsum board products resulting from further processing within the scope of DIN EN 14190 on the construction site. When installing these products in load-bearing timber structural members, different regulations regarding the connection to the substructure may apply, as necessary.
