This document includes Amendment 2 to EN 16005:2023+A1:2024. This document was prepared as result of the gap analysis between Directive 2006/42/EC (Machinery Directive, MR) and Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 (Machinery Regulation, MR) relating the MR requirements "1.1.9. Protection against corruption", "1.2.1. Safety and reliability of control systems" and "1.2.6. Failure of the power supply or communication network connection".
