Thermal Insulation Products -Preparatory procedures in order to test according to EN 16516:2017+A1:2020

Abstract

This document specifies the preparatory procedures for thermal insulation materials to test according to EN 16516:2017+A1:2020. This document is applicable to the following materials and products: - Factory made mineral wool (MW) products; - Factory made products of expanded polystyrene (EPS); - Factory made extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) products; - Factory made rigid polyurethane foam (PU) products; - Factory made phenolic foam (PF) products; - Factory made cellular glass (CG) products; - Factory made wood wool (WW) products; - Factory made expanded perlite board (EPB) products; - Factory made products of expanded cork (ICB); - Factory made wood fibre (WF) products; - In-situ formed expanded clay lightweight aggregate products (LWA); - In-situ formed loose-fill mineral wool (MW) products; - In-situ formed sprayed rigid polyurethane (PUR) and polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam products; - In-situ thermal insulation formed from expanded perlite (EP) products; - In-situ thermal insulation formed from exfoliated vermiculite (EV) products; - In-situ formed dispensed rigid polyurethane (PUR) and polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam products; - Expanded polystyrene blocks; - In-situ formed loose fill cellulose (LFCI) products; - Bound EPS ballastings; - Insitu formed products from loose-fill expanded polystyrene (EPS) beads and bonded expanded polystyrene beads.
