Waterproofing for indoor applications - Supplement 1: Guideline for the design of waterproofing in domestic and similar bathrooms with showers at floor level
Abstract
This document applies to the planning, execution and maintenance of the waterproofing of floor and wall surfaces in interior rooms with waterproofing materials in the form of membranes and sheets as well as liquid waterproofing materials against water with a planned accumulation height of up to 10 cm. Compared with DIN 18534-1 to -6, this document does not contain any supplementary normative specifications, but explains by way of example the planning of waterproofing in domestic or similarly used bathrooms (e.g. hotels, patients' rooms) with showers that are flush with the floor or recessed in accordance with DIN 18534-1 up to water action class W2-I.
