Lighting columns - Guidance on instructions for installation, operation and maintenance
Abstract
This document provides guidance to manufacturers to write instructions and specifications for installation, operation and maintenance of lighting columns covered by the scope of EN 40 (all parts). This document covers lighting columns including their luminaire spigots, brackets and foundations. Main aspects covered are - General aspects and preparation - Assembly - Installation - Operation - Inspection and testing - Maintenance - Dismantling and reuse or recycling Instructions from other parties in the supply chain (for example, installers, asset owners and maintenance contractors) can also be needed. This document does not provide guidance on instructions from parties other than the manufacturer.
