Abstract
This document is the third part of a three-part series of standards establishing minimum requirements for the development, manufacture, and repair of painted plastic add-on parts in the automotive sector. It addresses the repair of painted plastic add-on parts and is intended for vehicle manufacturers (OEMs). The document aims to provide a standardized framework for the creation and evaluation of repair guidelines particularly for functional components serving as covers for radar sensors and thus featuring one or more transmission zones. It serves as a structured checklist for the systematic consideration of repair-related issues and supports the definition of permissible repair methods, materials, and process steps.
