Paints and varnishes – Radar transparency test – Part 1: Material characteristics
Abstract
This document specifies a method for testing the radar suitability of coatings. Common measurement methods for determining relative permittivity and the loss factor involve measuring at least one scattering parameter. This parameter is used in conjunction with a mathematical model describing wave propagation within the test specimen to derive the quantities of interest, either analytically or numerically.
