Abstract

This standard specifies dimensions, requirements and abbreviations for shackles that are preferably used - for suspending the DIN 20593 - I 140 E rail profile with the 140 E/76 rail connection in accordance with DIN 20593-1 or the DIN 20593 - F I 140 E rail connection for monorail suspension systems (EHB); - as connecting elements for suspension and tensioning chains for monorail suspension railways (see DIN 20629-1 and DIN 20629-2).
