Artificial lighting - Part 6: Measurement and evaluation
Abstract
This document is applicable to the measurement and evaluation of indoor lighting and the lighting of outdoor areas. This standard also specifies the measurement of safety lighting as part of emergency lighting (in accordance with DIN EN 1838) including escape sign luminaires and illuminated escape signs as well as machine-integrated lighting (in accordance with DIN EN 1837). It does not specify the measurement of optical safety guidance systems. DIN EN 12193 is applicable for the measurement of lighting in sports facilities. DIN EN 12464-1 is applicable for measuring the lighting of indoor workplaces. DIN EN 12464-2 is applicable for measuring the lighting of outdoor workplaces. DIN EN 13201 4 is applicable for the measurement of street lighting. DIN EN 60601 2 41 (VDE 0750 2 41) is applicable for the measurement and assessment of operational field lighting. DIN 5034 5 is applicable for the measurement and assessment of daylight. DIN 5035-8 is applicable for the measurement and assessment of workplace luminaires.
