Overview

This document deals with the safety of electrical, hand-held hairdryers of protection class II which are connected to the AC mains and whose rated voltage does not exceed 250 V. This prestandard is based on the relevant clauses of the draft standard VDE 0700-23-100:2023-11, hereinafter referred to as Part 23.
