Overview
This document applies to the design, development and manufacture of networked safety systems on the product side and to the planning, project planning, installation, commissioning, testing, acceptance, operation and maintenance of networked safety systems on the user side. The document defines protection objectives and standardizes event codes for messages from security systems, regardless of the transmission protocol, in order to enable uniform terms and better interaction between system components. Typical examples of applications for this document include tampering or motion messages from video surveillance systems, technical messages such as health checks, and the monitoring of people, vehicles, or changes in the image section.
