Overview
This standard applies to transfer switching equipment (TSE) to be used in power systems with interruption of the supply to the load during transfer, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 1 000 V a.c. or 1 500 V d.c. The following significant modifications have been made with respect to the previous edition: - revision of the scope; - revision of Clause 4, Classification; - revision of clause "EMC test"; - adaptation of Part 1 of IEC 60947-1. The responsible committee is DKE/K 431 "Niederspannungsschaltgeräte und -kombinationen" ("Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
