Abstract
This part of IEC 61800 specifies requirements for adjustable speed electrical power drive systems (PDS) or their elements, with respect to electrical, thermal, energy relevant hazards. It does not cover the driven equipment except for interface requirements. In Table 8, „Clearance for functional insulation, basic insulation or supplementary insulation, the description in footnote D has been corrected.
