Abstract
This draft standard is based on an initial draft from the VDE Testing Institute from 2013 and has been fundamentally revised by the German working group "AK 511.3.2 Heat Transfer Units". For several years, components and assemblies from building installations, such as pumps, mixers, control and regulating devices, and heat exchangers, have been assembled by manufacturers into prefabricated appliances and brought to market. Meanwhile, large quantities in the millions are being sold. Therefore, the German committee considers it necessary to create its own standard for these appliances and has prepared this proposal.
