Abstract
This part of IEC60034 is applicable to a.c. adjustable speed rolling mill motors and specifies the requirements based on the specific performance characteristics for AC adjustable speed rolling mill motors, due to the holonomic constraints such as the orthonominality control between magnetic flux and torque component current, where the specific performance characteristics are far different from those for the conventional AC motors.
