Overview

This product family standard specifies the EMC requirements for HBES/BACS. In addition, it defines EMC requirements for the interface of equipment intended to be connected to an HBES/BACS network. It does not apply to interfaces to other networks. This document provides general performance requirements, standard test conditions and test set-ups. This document applies only to home and building electronic systems (HBES) and building automation and control systems (BACS). The standard differs from DIN EN IEC 63044-5-1 (VDE 0849-44-51):2020-04 as follows: a) adaption of the scope of application; b) revision of Clause 5 regarding performance criteria; c) updating of references to CISPR 32; d) deletion of Annex C "Examples of product standards". This document is intended for use by developers and testers of home and building electronic systems (HBES) and building automation and control systems (BACS) with regard to EMC requirements.
