Dieses Dokument legt ein Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung der spezifischen Migration polycyclischen aromatischer Kohlenwasserstoffe (PAK) von Papier, Pappe und Faserstoff in das Lebensmittelsimulanz Isooktan fest. Die Menge an polycyclischen aromatischen Kohlenwasserstoffen (PAK) wird in Mikrogramm PAK je Liter Lösemittelextrakt angegeben. Das zuständige nationale Normungsgremium ist der Arbeitsausschuss NA 074-02-01 AA "Chemisch-technische Prüfverfahren für Papier, Pappe, Faserstoff und Chemiezellstoff" im DIN-Normenausschuss Papier, Pappe und Faserstoff (NPa).
