"NormenWerk" exhibit

The "NormenWerk" interactive exhibition introduces DIN visitors to the world of standardization.

The permanent exhibition, "NormenWerk" in DIN's Berlin offices features a number of interactive elements. As visitors walk through the hallway, stations such as gesture-controlled powerwalls, light-and-sound stations or "innovation" boards provide information on DIN and its work, illustrating how standards affect our daily lives. Visitors can hold objects to their ear and listen to "stories" of how they have been standardized. And tablets provide additional information for many objects.

Currently, a special exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of DIN's Consumer Council tells the story of standardization and consumer protection.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our free exhibition!

Open Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
