Abstract

This standard applies to manual shut-off valves with operating pressures of 5 bar or 16 bar up to and including DN 25, for liquefied petroleum gas in accordance with DIN 51622 or DIN 51629 — except liquefied petroleum gas in the liquid phase — and an operating temperature range of –20 °C to +60 °C. These shut-off valves are used, for example, in vehicles and boats, as well as in pipeline installations in accordance with the Technical Rules for LPG (TRF).
