Application of construction products in structures - Part 300: Rules for the use of cold-formed profiled sheets made of steel and aluminum
Abstract
This document specifies for cold-formed, load-bearing components and profiled sheets made of steel according to DIN EN 1090-4 or aluminium according to DIN EN 1090-5, which are harmonized according to DIN EN 1090-1 and for factory-produced self-supporting metal sheets and panels according to DIN EN 14782, for the properties specified in the standards mentioned, application-related requirements for use in roofs, ceilings and walls. It applies together with DIN EN 1090-4, DIN EN 1090-5 and DIN EN 14782. This document does not apply to composite structures where the interaction of different materials is an integral part of the structural behavior, e.g. sandwich panels and composite floors. This document does not apply to roofing and wall cladding products manufactured by conventional plumbing or other craft methods.
