Abstract

This standard specifies the characteristics and requirements for the application of torque seal when applied to screws and fasteners. It serves as a visual inspection mark and loosening indicator to show the correct assembly or release of workpieces and, if necessary, their loosening. The use of torque seal does not replace technical thread-locking. This document defines structured applications and refers to relevant national and international standards regarding tolerances and quality.
