Abstract
This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN-SPEC-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This document specifies requirements for cut and milled plates, ingots and slabs produced by continuous casting without forming, made of aluminium and aluminium alloys, for general applications. It includes technical delivery conditions, mechanical properties, strengths, tolerances, analysis, test methods and product testing. This document applies to products with a thickness of 5 mm or greater.
