Annotation of recorded measurement and process data for the production of plastic packaging with recycled content; Text in English

Abstract

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN-SPEC-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This DIN SPEC defines requirements for the semantic annotation of measurement and process data for the development and production of plastic packaging with recycled content on the basis of an ontology. The ontology provides the necessary classes and relations to allow the semantic annotation of data to be exchanged in the data space. The document can be used for the research, development and use of data-based systems for the interdisciplinary exchange of data and knowledge. This document is aimed at developers and manufacturers of packaging materials and packaging made of plastic with recycled content, as well as software developers who implement infrastructures for integrated data exchange. Applying this document in other domains in which measurement and production data are to be exchanged and viewed holistically is also conceivable.
