Abstract

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN SPEC-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This document defines general principles for the Post-Use Concept of construction products from existing buildings as a supplement to the procedure according to VDI 6210 Part 1. The focus is on the procedure for the identification of technical, ecological and economic potentials for the high-quality post-use of construction products. Construction products are considered that arise during the deconstruction of a building, partial deconstruction as well as during renovation measures in existing buildings. This document does not define product-specific recommendations for action or deconstruction methods. NOTE Actors and addressees are those involved in deconstruction and post-use, in particular clients, planners and contractors.
