Abstract

This DIN SPEC in accordance with the PAS procedure has been drawn up by a DIN-SPEC-consortium set up on a temporary basis. This DIN SPEC has been developed and approved by the authors named in the foreword. This document defines the term "AI testing tools" and specifies requirements for AI testing tools that are used, among other things, to evaluate robustness, cyber security, reliability, discrimination and other dimensions of AI systems or their components.This document does not specify requirements for AI testing tools that are used for verifying AI system documentation.This document does not provide requirements applicable to AI testing tools for testing of AI systems relevant to occupational safety and health. This also applies to so-called assistance systems.This document is applicable to all stakeholders involved in testing of an AI system or its components for trustworthiness.
