Intelligente Verkehrssysteme - Kooperative Systeme - Global eindeutige Identifikation - Änderung 1: Bereiche geschlossener Polygone in der Ebene (ISO 17419:2018/Amd 1:2024); Englische Fassung EN ISO 17419:2018/A1:2024

Overview

This document (EN ISO 17419:2018/prA1:2023) has been prepared by ISO/TC 204 Technical Committee "Intelligent Transport Systems" in collaboration with CEN/TC 278 Technical Committee "Intelligent Transport Systems", the secretariat of which is held by NEN (Netherlands). The responsible German standardization committee is Joint Working Committee NA 052-00-71 GA "Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss NAAutomobil/DKE: Intelligente Verkehrssysteme" at DIN Standards Committee "Road Vehicles and Mobility" ("Joint working committee NAAutomobil/DKE: Intelligent Transport Systems"). Classification and management of ITS applications in a global context cover more than the ITS application itself. They also take into account environmental elements with which ITS applications are instantiated. Intelligent transport systems (ITS) provide users with ITS services for executing ITS applications, which typically require communication between ITS application processes within ITS station units. Communications include messages addressed to ITS applications and messages from ITS message sets. Following the definition in ETSI TS 102 680, ITS applications and ITS application classes are referred to as ITS application objects. ITS application objects are uniquely identifiable by means of the registered ITS application identifier (ITS-AID) specified in this document. This document is an extension of ETSI TS 102 860 to improve general and global applicability.
