Abstract

In order to achieve the greatest quality in manufacturing, potential failures must be identified before they occur. As an industry-wide standard, this reference manual clarifies questions concerning the technical development of machinery, tooling, and equipment FMEA's. This manual provides guidelines for a supplier to use in conducting and reporting a design and process failure mode and effect analysis.
