Overview

This European Standard defines the general terms used in the field of conservation of cultural property with particular attention to those terms which have wide use or significance. The purpose of this standard is to improve the understanding and collaboration between the persons responsible for the conservation of cultural property and to harmonize the general terms used in the standards of CEN/TC 346. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-01-36 AA "Erhaltung des kulturellen Erbes" ("Conservation of cultural properties") of the Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee at DIN.
