Pressure accessories for burners and appliances burning gaseous fuels
Abstract
This document considers the pressure risk of pressure accessories for burners and appliances burning one or more stable, non-corrosive gaseous fuels. Pressure accessories which are subject to a pressure greater than 50 kPa and up to including 6 300 kPa and a nominal diameter of up to and including DN 250. This document works in conjunction with the following specific control standards: - EN 88-2 for pressure regulators for inlet pressure above 50 kPa up to and including 500 kPa and associated safety devices - EN 88-3 for pressure and/or flow rate regulators for inlet pressures up to and including 500 kPa, electronic types - EN 161 for automatic shut-off valves for gas burners and gas appliances - EN 16678 for automatic shut-off valves for operating pressure of above 500 kPa up to and including 6 300 kPa - EN 16898 for gas filters having a maximum working pressure up to and including 600 kPa This document covers type testing only. Tests intended for production testing are not specifically included.
