Elastomer waterstops for sealing joints in concrete - Part 4: Replaceable clamp waterstops
Abstract
This standard is applicable to external elastomeric waterstops that are non-desctuctively detachable and replacable on both sides: a) Interchangeable clamp joint tapes between concrete components; b) Interchangeable clamp joint tapes between steel and concrete components; c) Interchangeable clamp joint tapes between steel components. Typical applications for elastomeric clamping joint tapes are, for example: Sewer bridges, power stations, renovations, locks, underground garages, tunnels or similar structures. Depending on the type and structure of the construction, a distinction is made between loose flange construction, loose fixed flange construction and tilting flange construction. This standard does not apply to clamp waterstops made of plastics and thermoplastic elastomers. It gives no indication of the structural application of the elastomeric clamp waterstops.
